Flood Recovery

June 23, 2016 our Region experienced the worst flood in West Virginia’s history. Since that day FEMA, West Virginia Division of Home Land Security and many other agencies and organizations have spent months trying to help families, business and communities recover.

As part of West Virginia’s long term recovery efforts, FEMA National Disaster Recovery Support (NDRS) staff were asked to support a series of informal discussions. The purpose was to meet with small groups of local, state and federal partners in the most affected areas.
